Introduction to the 4 Forces of Flight

Each of our lives is, in some way, a constant search for balance. Or at least, we try to make it so.
Sometimes we compromise. Sometimes we don’t take opportunities just to preserve a sense of safety.
Sometimes we push ourselves far beyond our limits to achieve results, even when the effort becomes exhausting.

Why?

Because our brain is trying to protect us. It doesn’t seek effort that leads into the unknown.
It resists abstract projects that could bring great achievements. It prefers familiar patterns.
It seeks balance, even if staying in the comfort zone causes more suffering, it will still choose it over uncertainty and discovery.

In 2026, for the most of us flying has become as normal as taking the car to reach our destination. You board the aircraft, set aside your fears and doubts and trust physics to take you to your destination.
But in that very moment, all around you, incredible forces are at work.
Forces that lift both you and the aircraft away from the ultimate comfort zone: the ground.
The 4 forces, thrust-weight-lift-drag, being balanced to make a movement possible.

The airplane must push forward. It must deal with balance and resistance. It must strain its own structure to move toward its destination.
In the same way, anyone who wants to change or reach a goal must face internal and external forces, very similar to those acting on an aircraft in flight.

Together, we will discover how powerful these forces are and how understanding them can help us use them in our own lives to truly embrace change.
